Literature is a social product and students can compare the values and attitudes of different countries and their cultures. It widens the world view of the students and make them a world citizen. The department created an organization named ‘ELAV’ an association of students and faculties. That would help the students in churning out the creation and literary talents of the students. Every year we conduct seminars based on literature participating eminent person in that field.

Our mission is to make the students of B A and M A achieving meritorious grades in University leavel. Every faculty would dedicate their talents and time for the purpose. We arranged special classes apart from the regular timetable. We also organize cultural events and other competition in the inter collegiate level.
